    In our restaurant Maja´che will our chef delight your palate with exquisite meals.

    Holbox is a village that traditionally dedicated its activities to fishing, that´s why the fish and lobster menus are some of the most exquisite and of course freshest ones you will taste.

    It is a pleasure to see early in the morning on the horizon the fisher men coming back loaded with fresh fish; fish that will be prepared and served after the best antiques recipes.

    And if you don´t like seafood, we also offer fine cuts of meat, pasta, salads and vegetarian dishes.

    The a-la-carte restaurant is daily open from 7:30 to 22:00. For those who like to be spoiled, we offer the option of half board in which dinner is included. The menu of this dinner varies day by day, selected by our chef and consisting of a 4-course menu with appetizer, cream or soup, main course (to choose from meat or fish) and dessert.

    Please let us know if you are following a special diet. In Xaloc it is a pleasure for us to spoil our guests.

    And for those who come to celebrate a special moment, we can organize a romantic candle light dinner.

    Ceviche.
    The ceviche is the most representative dish of the mexican food in the regions close to the sea. It is made with raw fish or seafood marinated in lemon juice, chopped tomate and onions adding the special flavor of the coriander, quite typical herb in this region. Ceviches can be prepared with fish, octopus, conch, and the best of all Lobster!

    Xaloc Salad.
    Delightful salad served on a tulip-like tortilla stuffed with shrimps and lettuce covered on mayonnaise dressing.

    Shrimps Risotto.
    At our restaurant you will not only discover the local food, but will also be surprised by well-known international specialities full of taste, such as this perfect combination of sauté shrimps in white wine and XV olive oil, creamy rice and chef's special herbs, served on apetit parmegean cheese basket.

    "A la Diabla" Shrimps.
    Picked by all as a top star in the vast mexican gastronomy. Chilis could not pass undercovered, that is why we want to put on your table a dish willing to surprise the bravest palates mixing the shrimps and achiote sauce with the unmistakeable flavor of the chipotle chilis.

    Xtabentun Lobster.
    The lobster is always present in our island and the Xtabentun liquor is never absent on the yucatan tables. Using both ingredients we combine the anisette flavor of the Xtabetun and the swetnes of the lobster to create an exceptional dish perfect to be enjoyed with your loved ones.
