During the month
of May the marine turtles start to land on the coasts of Holbox; in
this period it is easy to watch them at night when they come out of
the sea to lay eggs. Starting August and September it is very common
to see little turtles leaving their nests and running to the ocean.
Depending on oficial permission. The tour starts in the hotel, at around 9:30 p.m. The boat picks us
up at the hotel and brings us to a completely virgin beach that can
only be reached by boat. Once arrived we start to walk looking for
traces of turtles or their nests, guided by biologists who know this
beach very well.
The night walk can be about 6-7 km long but the experience to watch
a turtle coming out of the ocean is incredible and unique. The tour
will end in the early morning coming back to the hotel by boat.
